Teaneck residents elect the members of only two local entities:
1) the 7 member governing board – its Township Council and
2) its 9-member Board of Education.
Teaneck’s League of Women Voters provide a hugely important service by creating Voters’ Guides that allow all certified candidates seeking election to one of these two entities to define themselves and to respond to questions that the elected candidates will surely face in their elected roles.

Teaneck Council

ON Thursday October 1, at the High School Student Center it is expected that all 9 certified candidates for the 4 open positions on Teaneck’s 7-member Council will participate. A Voters” Guide will also become available. Voices expects to make that 2nd Voters’ Guide available on this same post next week!
