On Monday evening March 2, Teaneck’s own veteran housing expert presented a Power Point to more than 50 diverse Teaneck residents that described a plan to revitalize Cedar Lane. She sharply differentiated her proposed plan from the massive one being proposed by the Crossroads Companies for the many acres that lie beside Teaneck’s primary retail section – also known as Cedar Lane. Sandrof’s proposed plan was actively supported by the residents in attendance and aspects of it were then cited by residents who attended two other meetings at which the Crossroads Company’s Redevelopment Plan was criticized by nearly all who spoke.
