Early in the 6/27 Council meeting, a Town Consultant  from BH Financial LLC made a 17-slide presentation which featured data about a possible PILOT (Payments in Lieu of Taxes) that is the result of negotiations and BH’s analysis of how this resultant PILOT scheme would affect both 1) the viability of the 2022 approved 48 unit multi-family residential redevelopment plan for 189 The Plaza (a lot located within the State Street AINR) and 2) BH’s analysis of the financial impact to the Town over 30 years if the Town were to approve the proposed PILOT. Such an approval would require the introduction and then adoption of an ordinance by Council in two subsequent Council meetings. (Note: No analysis of any Teaneck proposed AINR lot PILOT had previously been made public prior to its being proposed for ordinance introduction.)
