At precisely 2 pm on 9/16/2022, Teaneck’s Township Clerk and staff gasthered in the Teaneck Council chamber, folded and placed 5 slips of paper into a box from which they then drew the ballot position order of Council candidates that will be found on Teaneck’s municipal Council election portion of the ballot Teaneck voters will be given to select their preferences in the November 2022 general election.

Because 6 of the candidates had formally requested to be bracketed with other candidates (four in one case; two in the other) and agreed to use common slogans, the 9 candidates were named on these 5 slips of paper

As the slips were drawn, they were placed on the table which lies in front of the dais in Council Chambers.  Below find the photo of those five slips – top to bottom – after they were drawn from the box.
